Somewhere on your List
i wake up
and before i can crave
the daylight or toast
you think you can sink into
my brain and...
i let you.
stop thinking figuratively
and LET ME SPEAK...
(i don't remember why i say that)
i can't loose myself here,
somewhere on your list.
I've had to work so hard
you glance at her and
think you're in love
so she's automatically saved a spot
(inside you)
i offer what it takes - and
i offer more to know you
sort through 10,000 words and show you
- then sift through the rest
just to greet you
take out innocent civilians,
detour detours
just to meet you - head on...
to appear
(somewhere on your list.)
