Alone till you came along
I never new what to say
I paid the price for being shy
By feeling lonely day and night
I was in my darkest hour
All the light had gone away
I was truly all alone
Till you came along
You lit my way though the darkness
I found the strength to live again
You were my rock my only flower
I feel no pain
My eyes glazed over
Then one day you came along
You lit the way though the darkened path
The one were I walk alone
The one were sadness wonders
I had a dream the worst so far
I dreamt that I’m left alone once again
The ship sets sail and takes you away
Please don’t forget me
I stand and watch you as you leave
I’m all alone helplessly
Watching the sun go down
I see your face
The last thing I see
As the darkness swallows me
