One day, in a 1st grade classroom, the children had to draw something on the chalkboard that excited them at home. The first little girl drew a picture of her favorite cartoon character. The second little boy drew the logo for his favorite basketball team. The third kid drew a small, single, dot on the board. His teacher asks, "What's exciting about a dot?"

The kid replies, "That's not a dot, it's a period. My 14-year-old sister had one yesterday for the first time in 3 months and everyone got excited."
